Alex is an illustrator, animator, and designer from Philadelphia currently living in Los Angeles. She studied painting and printmaking at The Cooper Union in New York. Her work marries tactile, analogue artwork made with gouache, charcoal, ink, and colored pencil with digital design and motion.
Past clients include Harper Collins, Macmillan, Oxford University Press, Beaming Books, Illustoria Magazine, Philadelphia Department of Parks and Recreation, and the Philadelphia Ballet.
She has never stopped reading children’s books.
